Rodd Fluegge Service Advisor
State Licensed Emission and ASE Certified Master Technician
Rodd is a transplant from Michigan were grew up working in his dads Chrysler dealership as a technician. Since moving to San Clemente, Rodd has worked as a service writer and Technician. Rodd Joined our team in 2016 where he performs Service Advisor duties as well as technical backup for the technicians.
Dan Shaw – Service Manager
Dan started as a Technician at Shadetree in 1987, he moved into a Service Advisor role after his body surfing accident in 1989. He is a valuable member of our team and has since become our Service Manager.
Christian Dunn – Service Technician
San Clemente native and a Graduate from SCHS. He joined the Shadetree Auto family as an afterschool cleanup employee. He has worked his way through the ranks to be our number one Service Tech, he continues to grow and learn, while on his way to becoming a journeymen automotive technician. Christian is an ASE Certified Technician in several areas.
Scott Duplanty
Scott Duplanty grew up in orange county and graduated from Hillview high school in Tustin. Scott settled in south Orange County where he’s been raising his family while involving himself in their many activities.
We are proud Scott chose Shadetree Automotive to add to his over 25 years as an automotive professional.
Adrian Chavez – Toyota Lexus Specialist
Meet our new Toyota Lexus specialist, Adrian Chavez. Adrian was born and raised in the San Diego area and now lives in Orange county. He has spent most of the last 24 years working in the Toyota factory dealership environment where he earned over 150 Toyota factory and 9 ASE Technical certifications.
We are happy to have him join the Shadetree Team and are looking forward to working with him for many years in the future!
Fred Magallon – State Licensed Emission and ASE Certified Technician
Fred Joined the Shadetree Team in 2009 he is from South Dakota and came to California via Yosemite and other great places. He currently lives in Tustin and makes the daily trip to San Clemente so he can fix cars on the beach! Fred is our primary Emission testing and repair technician. He is licensed in the State of California as a Licensed Automotive Emission Test and Repair Technician and is an ASE Certified Technician.
Dan Gauthier – State Licensed Emission and ASE Certified Master Technician
Dan has been a part of the Shadetree Automotive team since 2013. Dan grew up and continues to live in Mission Viejo with his wife and 3 sons. Dan is an ASE Certified Master Technician as well as a California State Licensed Automotive Emission Test and Repair Technician.
Will Curtis Service Advisor
Will has been working in the Automotive field for several years in San Clemente and joined Shadetree in 2005 when, Reb Mc Daniel retired and closed Watson Auto Service. Will has since gone to Part Time and works Wednesday thru Friday. Will holds an ASE certification.
